Hi everyone

I am going to tell you how a little Girl I work with made me feel better the other day,
I do some youth work with young people with learning difficults and support needs and i went the other night not sure how i got there i was feeling realy bad that evening, we decided to do some summer pictures of blue sky and seaside etc so all the young people was working away and one young lady came to me and said "why is the sky blue Audrey" Confused not wanting to go in to a lot of detail I said "god made it blue" she then said "well could he let me have some blue paint has i have run out," she realy made me smile and think. There is a smile in every day no matter how bad we feel. Smile

Hope this makes you smile as much as it did me the little girl made me a lovely picture of me sitting on the beach all with Blue sky.

Have a Good day eveyone and smile once.

Be safe Audrey.XX

Hi Audrey,

I also work with children with severe learning disabilities, many unable to speak and many with little movement, but I can guarantee that everyday I work there I leave with a smile or thought in my head about what a child may have done or said, be it in their actions, movement or speech. If we could bottle and sell some of these things it would bring so much joy to so many people.

Thanks Audrey.

We've just been to our local for lunch, and the landlord'a children are over for the holidays. He has an absolutely beautiful little 9 year old daughter with special needs who was absolutely thrilled that we had both had knee replacements and, after comparing scars, gave me the biggest hug ever. Made me cry and laugh at the same time.
